UCraft developers reveal starting classes for their Minecraft inspired game

A few weeks ago we wrote about an upcoming game in development that takes tons of inspiration from the cult indie hit, Minecraft. The game is called UCraft and it’s being developed by Nexis Games. The developers recently unveiled the starting classes for the game, which is a step away from Minecraft that doesn’t feature any sort of class customization. The three starting classes are warrior, magician, and engineer.

In the world of UCraft players will have the opportunity of choosing between 3 types of player classes. The types of classes available at launch will be Warrior, Magician and Engineer with more to come in future updates. As you may have guessed some things in the world of UCraft will only be accessible to players possessing a certain type of skill or ability so it’s best to explore the world with a couple of friends because some challenges will be impossible to face alone.

From the sound of things with some characters not being able to perform all of the actions, it sounds as if Nexis Games wants to encourage multiplayer in the game. This is an interesting and different approach to Minecraft, where everyone starts with the same capabilities as everyone else.
