Before Google rolls out Chrome features to the greater public, they first test the features on a select few who choose to enable the “Developer” version of Chrome. This allows tech savvy people to enjoy new features while they beta test for Google. You can join these elite ranks by visiting chrome://settings/about and clicking on “more info”.
Keep in mind that only the tech savviest folks should choose this option. Because these are beta builds, things can go wrong, and if you don’t know how to fix what broke than you’re S.O.L. Of course we’re happy to try and help you fix whatever it may be in our Chrome Forum so at least there is that concession!
