Here is a nice tip for quickly and easily finding your contacts on a Chromebook. You could go to Gmail or Hangouts and manually look for those you want to contact, but with the latest update Google has made it much easier to reach out to your contacts.
The latest feature allows you to search for people, just as you would search for a website or application on your Chromebook’s app launcher. After finding your contact, you can easily initiate a Google Hangout or an email.
How to search contacts from your Chromebook’s app launcher
The process is very simple. There are two ways to find your contacts.
- Press the Search button on your Chromebook and type in your contact’s name.
- Click on the App Launcher and type in your contact’s name on the search bar.
