How to access your Google Contacts info from Google Search

Us Chrome fans tend to gravitate towards Google services and most of us probably use Google Contacts. I use it to sync my contacts with my phones, tablets and computers. I have always thought the Google contacts needed to be improved, though. If you agree, this may be the best solution you can find – Google Contacts information can now be accessed via Google Search.

Google has added this feature to the Google Search field trial. It allows you to simply search for your contact’s details straight from Google Search. For example, one can say “what is Chris’ number?” or “what is Jackie’s address?”. I have been using it for a few days and can say it has worked every single time.

How to activate Google Contacts on Google Search

It is very simple to get started with this feature. All you have to do is go to Google Search field trial’s website while logged into your Google account and join the field trial (click on the big blue button).

After that, you can Google Search your contacts away. That was simple, right?!

Conclusion

This feature has changed the way I use access my contact info. I no longer have to go around looking through Gmail (where contacts are pretty well hidden). This also works with Google Search and Google Now for mobile, so it even helps me when I am on-the-go. It even supports voice search, so it might help you become the better driver we all strive to be.

You guys should at least give it a try. And don’t forget to come back and let us know how you like it!
