Google has started rolling out an update that will allow its cloud storage subscribers to quickly share files from the Google Drive folder. This will make it easier for users to share without having to go through the browser. Those that work in “the cloud” can see the benefit in a feature like this one.
One can simply right-click on any file on the Google Drive folder, go to the “Google Drive” option and share away. Google is currently rolling out the update, a process which should take a “few days”.
The update will be delivered to Mac and Windows users, which has the vast majority of us covered. Keep an eye on your Google Drive folder to see when this features rolls out to your computer. Also, we would love to hear your opinions on the feature if you have gotten this update already!
