Developers of UCraft release the first trailer

If you’ve been following the UCraft saga for Wii U, you’ll know that the developers at Nexis Games have garnered a lot of hype for UCraft, a game that was originally positioned to be a Minecraft alternative for Wii U owners who were fed up that Mojang never brought their hit game to the Wii U before selling out to Microsoft. This new trailer from Nexis Games posits that UCraft is “NOT a clone”, but from everything we’ve seen so far, including this trailer.. it definitely is.

Either way, Wii U fans who want to have the Minecraft experience may soon be able to with UCraft. According to the developer blog post, UCraft will be made up of several realms that the player can explore, similar to how Starbound functions on PC. There are no details on how you get between these realms yet, but that aspect at least seems unique in that your character and inventory carry over from world to world, unlike in Minecraft.
