Zelda: Breath of the Wild getting season pass for DLC

Nintendo has joined the Season Pass club: Zelda: Breath of the Wild will get a $20 Season Pass. Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma posted a video on YouTube where he explained how the Breath of the Wild Season pass will work and what we’ll get for our money.

The Season Pass will include two content packs: the first one will be released this Summer and will include a new “Cave of Trials” and hard difficulty setting, and a new “additional map feature”. It will be released this Summer.

The second content pack will include a brand new dungeon and additional challenges to the current game. The second content pack will be released this Winter.

And for those who purchase the Season Pass at launch, they’ll get extra treasure chests and clothing items for Link on day 1.

We’ll have to wait and see if the new content is worth $20. Companies like EA and Activision tend to charge much more for their Season Passes (50 bucks usually), but they also give the player a lot more content.
