Zelda: Breath of the Wild producer Eiji Aonuma recently revealed that the game will have an alternate ending. But to experience the alternate ending, players must meet certain criteria, says Aonuma.
During an event in Berlin, Aonuma teased that “If you do a few things [in Breath of the Wild] you may see a different ending”. He added that there will be a “normal ending” that most players will see, but for those few who do the “few things”, an alternate ending will appear.
He didn’t get into details as to what players have to do to get the alternate ending, but it once the game is out, it will be only a matter of time before someone finds out and shares the news online. Or it might just be in the official Prima Guide.
Breath of the Wild launches with the Switch on March 3rd.
