You can now store credit card info on the Switch eShop

Nintendo has added a much-needed feature to the Switch eShop: the ability to store credit card info to make buying games easier.

The company also added an option to password protect purchases with the credit card, just in case the Switch ends up in the wring hands with the credit card data.

The updates happened to the back-end of the Switch and Nintendo didn’t do a full system update. In fact, they didn’t even notify users that they can store credit card info — it just appeared overnight on the console.

Either way, it’s one of those features that will make buying digital games on the console faster and easier.

If you want to add your credit card, go to the eShop settings under your user profile and you’ll see the new option.
