Sony president Shuhei Yoshida reveals he was banned from Miiverse twice

If you thought being the president of a large multi-national corporation means you’re above getting banned on Miiverse, Sony president Shuhei Yoshida has a thing or to two tell you. In a recent interview with Engadget where Yoshida talks about the last 20 years of gaming history, Yoshida has revealed that he’s been banned from Miiverse twice. According to Yoshida the reasons were valid enough, so it’s not like Nintendo was punishing him for working for a competitor.

“The first time was because I had my Twitter account in my profile and that’s against the rules. The second time is because I wrote, ‘I love PS.’ You’re not supposed to promote a commercial product in MiiVerse, so they correctly interpreted ‘PS’ as ‘PlayStation.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard Yoshida discuss the Wii U. Back in October of 2013, he admitted he has two Wii U consoles in his house and that he plays them regularly. In Decemeber of the same year, Yoshida defended the Wii U, stating it’s just getting started as a platform.
