The folks over at Playtonic Games have set a pretty decent milestone given the hype surrounding the recently announced Yooka-Laylee Kickstarter. According to them, the Yooka-Laylee project is the fastest video game project to get $1 million in funding and its currently on track to become the best performing UK-based Kickstarter of all time.

The game smashed through its initial funding goal within just 30 minutes of going live and it reached the targeted $1 million stretch goal within just 24 hours of going live. The team is still accepting funding and will be for the next several weeks as the campaign wears on.
