Wii Fit U is heading to retailers on January 10th

We’ve known that Wii Fit U was heading to retailers soon and Nintendo’s official site has carried the January 10th release date after announcing a delay, but today the release date was made official via an announcement from Nintendo. This means the retail package with the Wii Balance Board will be available for purchase for those who don’t already have one from previous Wii Fit games.

The one month free trial of the game will be available until January 31st, so if you can find a fit meter in stores you can register it to the console in order to keep the game for a mere $20. The full package will be available for $90, while a fit meter and game combo will be available for $50 in stores.
