Warner Bros. Interactive has a very lucrative property in LEGO tie-in games, as just earlier this morning we reported that LEGO Jurassic World will be released later this year. According to an industry source who spoke to VideoGamer.com, the company is now working on a toys-to-life project similar to Skylanders, Disney Infinity, and Nintendo’s own amiibo that will work with upcoming LEGO games and have a wide variety of LEGO figures for the game.

Warner Bros. themselves declined to comment on the speculation, but the game is apparently under development at Traveller’s Tales. No specific information was given about the series or whether or not it would utilize some of the more popular LEGO games franchises, such as LEGO Batman and LEGO Marvel Superheroes. It’s possible that the toys-to-life concept could be used in the upcoming LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, which will tie-in to The Age of Ultron movie releasing this year.

Either way, it seems as though the toys-to-life space is about to get even more crowded, especially with the popularity of the LEGO series of games.
