Ubisoft challenges Miyamoto to the ALS ice bucket challenge

The ALS ice bucket challenge is currently a viral event that has spread across the globe in an effort to raise funding for ALS research. ALS, or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary movement. It’s more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease in the United States, though Stephen Hawking is the most famous person alive who suffers from the disease. Thanks to this viral challenge effort, the ALS Association has managed to raise more than $94 million dollars.

Reggie has already been challenged by Phil Spencer of Microsoft, with Shigeru Miyamoto being challenged by the CEO of Ubisoft. That makes two Nintendo’s top three executive personalities that have been challenged. I doubt Iwata will participate due to his recent health issues and surgery, but it would be interesting to see three of Nintendo’s top personalities getting together to support charity.
