Two Tribes has had a rough time with their Wii U support, but that hasn’t stopped them from working on their latest game, RIVE. RIVE is the first game the team is working on since the major restructure that took place last year. The game is a 2D shooter that combines platforming elements with hacking sequences.
The team of three has been relatively quiet since announcing the game, but have released a September update to showcase where they are so far in game development. Highlights of the video include several new, never before seen environments and new hacks you can utilize to turn your enemies into scrap metal, or force them to serve you.
The game is very fast-paced, which is somewhat of a refresher when compared against Toki Tori. Still Two Tribes has no release date for the game yet, however.
