TweetDeck for Chrome Gets Shiny New UI

Twitter has been hard at work updating their website and mobile apps, but let’s not forget about TweetDeck. You might remember that a while back Twitter purchased TweetDeck, and that has never been more apparent than today. The TweetDeck web app has been totally updated and re-skinned to match the rest of the updates Twitter sent out today.

Gone is the standard “TweetDeck yellow” which has been replaced by a light blue. The column layout has changed a bit too. I’ve noticed that on my 14″ screen I can only see 3 columns now instead of 4. The compose tweet button has been changed and moved slightly, but that’s about it. Thankfully the change is relatively minimal. It seems like it’s only a matter of time before the TweetDeck Android app receives the same treatment.
