Dark Bowser Skylander will be exclusive to Toys-R-Us

One of the surprise announcements at this year’s E3 presentation is that the upcoming Skylanders Superchargers game will also feature two characters from Nintendo franchises. Both Bowser and Donkey Kong are making the jump to the Skylanders world, but the real surprise is that their figures will double as both Skylanders and amiibo.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Skylanders without tons of variants in the available figures, so the Dark Edition was born. Today Toys-R-Us announced that the Dark Bowser Skylander will be exclusive to their stores and online.

If you’ve got your eye on this one either because you just want the amiibo or you’re planning on getting the whole Skylanders set, this one will be one you’ll have to seek from Toys-R-Us.
