If you followed the Toys R Us amiibo pre-order cancellation saga last week, you know that Toys R Us stated they would have a way for those who were affected to pre-order their items again. It looks like the company is working on setting up a way to help those affected, so check your email for a message. Some people have received messages telling them that Toys R Us cannot legally reinstate their pre-order, so they’ll have to pre-order again. Here’s the email:
We are reaching out today regarding the recent cancellation that has occurred with your online order(s). Unfortunately, there was a processing error that caused your order(s) to cancel. Legally, we cannot reinstate your order(s) however we are working to put a process in place that will allow you to purchase these items within the week. We will be reaching out to you as soon as we have specifics and appreciate your patience and understanding. We sincerely apologize for this cancellation and the inconvenience it has caused and will be in touch shortly.
While this sucks for those who have had pre-orders for their amiibos since they initially opened, it’s nice to see Toys R Us is working hard to make sure everyone can get their pre-orders back. Have you received this email? Let us know in the comments.
