Today Nintendo released a mini Nintendo Direct surrounding the western release of Tomodachi Life. The game is like a cross between Animal Crossing and The Sims, using Nintendo’s Mii characters. The game will launch in North America and Europe on June 6. Tomodachi Life was a huge success in Japan, selling more than 5.5 million copies. According to Scott Moffitt, this unique launch gives Nintendo 3DS owners a new way to interact with a game that they’ll want to visit again and again.
