The Fall is an indie-developed game from Over The Moon games, a Vancouver studio that has focused on The Fall since its Kickstarter late last year. Despite releasing on PC in May, The Fall has always been in development for the Wii U after the developers became officially Nintendo-licensed and the Kickstarter reached its Wii U stretch goal.
So what’s it about? According to the developer, The Fall is a game that features a story that focuses on doing rather than watching. Players will work their way through challenges and find solutions to problems that begin to highlight the larger narrative of the story as the game progresses. The game releases today for North America at a price of $9.99, but European Wii U owners will have to wait a bit. According to the developer, the game is coming to other regions soon.
