The Cave coming to Wii U

Developer Double Fine Productions have confirmed that the upcoming platformer The Cave is coming to the Wii U console. Double Fine has been a lot in the press lately for its hugely successful Kickstarter project for Double Fine Adventure. The Cave is a platform-adventure game directed by Ron Gilbert, one of the creators of Monkey Island. The Cave is set in a cave (surprise, surprise!), and features several characters of widely different type. For instance, players can play as a scientist, or a knight, or even a hillbilly. The Cave is published digitally by SEGA and will be released in early 2013 on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and now, the Wii U eShop as well. Check out some interesting screenshots of the game below:
