A new advertising circular has made its way to the Internet, where the keen folks over at NeoGAF noticed something strange about the pictures in the ad. If you look closely you’ll see a Wii U GamePad sitting on top of a black Wii. That’s right, even the retailers who are peddling the product think the Wii U is just an accessory for Nintendo’s original Wii.
If this isn’t a case of showing off how poor the name Wii U was for Nintendo, then I’m not sure what else there is to support the evidence. Is it too late to ask for a name change, Nintendo? Perhaps with the release of a console with more storage space?
