The first Nintendo Switch sales numbers are coming from Japan, and so far it looks like it’s been a great launch for the new console.
Japanese publication Famitsu reports that the Switch has sold 330,637 units during its first 3 days on the market on Japan.
By comparison, the Wii U sold 308,000, while the Wii sold 378,000 during their first week on the market. The Switch has outsold the most popular console of this generation, PS4, which moved 322,000 units during the its first week.
It’s likely that Switch sales will be even higher, as the 330,000 is just for three days.
As for games, Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the top selling title, with 193,000 units sold in just 3 days.
