Intrepid data miners have been going to down on Super Smash Bros. for a while now, searching for evidence of the next DLC characters before Nintendo even announces them. Last week you’ll remember one data miner found evidence that Roy from Fire Emblem and Ryu of Street Fighter could be included in the next batch of DLC.
According to a new report, there could be five slots to fill in the next batch of DLC that Nintendo plans to release, which means if we include Lucas in that batch, there’s still two more slots for characters that haven’t been announced yet. According to the data miners, several stages should be coming as well, with one that appears to be from Kirby, as Kirby music is already in place for it.
Of course, these reports are little more than rumors because it’s people who are digging around in the file structure of Super Smash Bros., but they’ve been right in the past with some of the information they’ve found in the game.
