Super Mario 64 modder Kaze Emanuar has created what Nintendo should have done a long time ago: a Super Mario 64 level editor that lets you create your own level based on the N64 classic. And Emanuar’s creation also lets you share those levels with the community.
It’s sort of like Mario Maker, only in 3D and definitely not licensed or endorsed by Nintendo. Emanuar calls his creation “Super Mario 64 Maker”, and you can check out how it works in the video above.
Now all we have to do is wait for Nintendo’s lawyers to find out about this and shut the poor guy down.
Actually, Nintendo should take notice of this and give us a 3D Super Mario Maker.
