While no mention of the snowboarding game STEEP was made at Nintendo or Ubisoft’s E3 press conferences, new rumors suggest Ubisoft is having trouble getting the game working on the platform. The game was briefly confirmed to be arriving on the platform, but that may be in question now.
A source from IGN France says Ubisoft is having trouble getting the game up and running, especially the online component. Uh oh. That doesn’t sound like it bodes well for a service that Nintendo is hoping to charge customers for some day.
According to the rumor, another source says that the game may end up not being released on Switch all together. That sucks for SSX fans who enjoyed those games. Since everything is still up in the air and this is a rumor this should be taken with a grain of salt, but it’s not looking good for Switch fans who were looking forward to pounding snow.
