Last year’s SteamWorld Dig was an amazing hit on the 3DS that eventually made its way to the Wii U. We enjoyed the world and the gameplay of SteamWorld Dig, so we were excited when Image & Form announced another game set in the same world, but utilizing different gameplay mechanics. SteamWorld Heist is about assembling a crack team of robots to salvage wrecks and explore and the developers have been slowly teasing new characters.
Today a new tweet released by the developers included the above screenshot with the following message:

The character designs are pretty interesting, with the character in question looking like some sort of robot fish man. If I had to wager, I would say he’s a friendly character, since he gives off that vibe. Are you excited about SteamWorld Heist coming out later this year? Let us know in the comments!
