Square Enix interested in more ports for the Switch

Since the Nintendo Switch’s launch last month, Square Enix has shown their support for the latest Nintendo platform with a port of I Am Setsuna, a game that’s a love-letter to RPGs of the past. It seems that port did rather well for them as the company is considering porting more games from their extensive library.

In an interview with Nikkei, Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsud stated that out of the Microsoft’s “Project Scorpio,” Windows 10 game mode, Google’s “Tango,” and the Nintendo Switch, most of their focus is going toward the Switch.

At the moment, we know that Square Enix is currently working on the development of Project Octopath Traveler, an RPG we saw during January’s Switch showcase, but haven’t heard of since. Here’s that trailer as a refresher:
