Splatoon is getting a huge update in August, with several new game modes, a raised level cap, plenty of new gear and two new weapon types. The first weapon type we’ve gotten an up close look at is the Slosher, which is just a paint bucket that you slosh around. It has a pretty decent range on it similar to the chargers, but it has a unique aspect as well.
As you can see in the video above, it’s possible to throw your slosh over walls and other obstacles so you can get players who think they can dodge away from you quickly. I’m looking forward to trying this one out when the update drops on August 6. What do you think of the new weapon type?
