Nintendo is often derided on the internet as a platform for young gamers, while many of those gamers forget the magical times they had as a youth with Nintendo games. Regardless, the last thing this mother of a seven-year-old expected to find in her daughter’s copy of Splatoon was porn.
Kristy Greider of West Chester, Ohio bought Splatoon from a local Target to give to her daughter for Christmas, but when her daughter opened the shrinkwrapped game, she found a copy of a DVD called Sensual Seductions 2.
“I had to explain to her a little bit that Santa’s elves don’t make the video games. They actually get them from the real stores and it had to have been a mix-up that Santa didn’t know about it.”
The Target where Greider purchased the game gave her a gift card for the value of the game, but sadly this isn’t the first time someone has opened a game on Christmas and got porn instead.
