The world is looking forward to Splatoon’s release in May, but if a recent email from Amazon Italy is anything to go by, Europe could be looking at a delay for the game. Some Nintendo fans woke up to find emails from Amazon Italy telling them that the game has been delayed in their region. Here’s the email they received, which is in Italian:
As you can see by that email, Amazon Italy is now listing their expected delivery date of the title between July 2 and 7. That puts the game releasing two months after the US release date of May, if this rumor turns out to be true. Consider that Nintendo of Europe themselves have not announced any delay, but it’s possible the delay could be confirmed in an upcoming Nintendo Direct as those differ between the three regions.
