Sonic Mania appears to be a classic throwback game to the original Sonic the Hedgehog games as they appeared on the Sega Genesis. It’s releasing sometime this year and Sega has been slowly teasing the game by releasing a drip feed of new screenshots and short video clips of some of the levels.
This newest tease offers a look at Knuckles traversing Flying Battery Zone, with classic Sonic beats in the background. I have to admit I haven’t been too excited about this game as I wasn’t as huge a Sonic fan growing up, but there’s a lot of nostalgia in watching that short video clip.
