Sega is once again trying to revamp the Sonic franchise with a new entry that we hope is a lot closer to Sonic Generations than Sonic 2006. Either way, this new video showcases some classic 2D Sonic gameplay from Green Hill Zone, which may be familiar to classic Sonic fans.
Sonic Forces is slated to release sometime this year on Nintendo Switch, with Sega just having revealed the final name at SXSW earlier this year. While the name itself is pretty uninspiring, if the game has lots of this classic 2D typical Sonic gameplay and less of the usual 3D Sonic fare, will you be more interested in picking it up?
