While Activision has been quiet about details of the new Skylanders game that will most likely be coming out later this year, a new promotion from Frito-Lay has given some information. In this new promotion, contestants are asked to name one of the new Skylanders you can see pictured above. The winning name will be used in the next game.
These Skylanders have never been seen before this promotion, which means they must be for the next game. If they were for the current game, Skylanders: SWAP Force, those on the internet who dig around in the game’s source code would have seen them by now.
One interesting thing to note is how each Skylander seems to represent two elements. The water one in the middle has the water symbol on his forehead, and an air symbol on his belt. Could this be the sign of dual element Skylanders? Another interesting point is that all three seem to have the air element in them somehow.
