Shin’en has been rather tight-lipped about its upcoming Fast Racing Neo game for Wii U, which has led many to speculate that development of the title hasn’t been going as good as hoped. A NeoGAF post from the announcement of the game is littered with people questioning whether the Wii U game will meet the performance standards that Shin’en has set for its previous games. Manfred of Shin’en put these dissenters to rest by replying and stating that yes, the game runs at a smooth 720p and achieves 60fps.
I can verify that the game runs at 60fps, 720p.

We’ve still not seen any footage of the game in action and the team has been very selective about the screenshots that they’ve shown so far, but from what we’ve seen we’re really eager to see Fast Racing Neo in action.
