WayForward has confirmed that XSEED will be publishing a physical copy of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero on the Switch for retailers.

WayForward has just announced that they’re bringing Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, the latest entry in the Shantae series to the Nintendo Switch this summer.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a 2D Metroidvania platformer wherein you play as Shantae, a, well, half genie hero. Along your quest to defeat Risky Boots, you’ll get the ability to transform into different animals and take advantage of the numerous magical abilities Shantae has in her possession. We played the game earlier this year when it came to PS4 and loved every bit of it. Here’s out hour-long livestream, in case you missed it.
No word on a retail release, but if something changes, we’ll let you know.
