Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia announced for 3DS - The Daily Net

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia announced for 3DS

During their Fire Emblem Direct this afternoon, Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia for the Nintendo 3DS.

Shadows of Valentia serves as a remake of sorts of the original, Famicom-exclusive Fire Emblem Gaiden. As a remake, Shadows of Valentia is being billed as “Fire Emblem with a twist.” This means that the classic formula you expect out of a Fire Emblem game will be there with some shades of Gaiden thrown in. Shadows of Valentia will give you flexible character progression, an open world to explore, and dungeons to roam.

Amiibo for the game’s protagonists, Alm and Celica will be available when the game launches on May 19th.
