Shadow of the Eternals still alive despite double Kickstarter failure?

Shadow of the Eternals has had something of a struggle to get started, but it seems like the project may not be dead despite failing to garner enough funds through crowdfunding twice. The first attempt happened through the Shadows of the Eternal regular website, where it was not disclosed how the funds would be spent. When the first attempt at crowdfunding failed, developer Precursor Games went back to the drawing board to launch a regular Kickstarter for the project, but soon found that it would not receive the funding requested either.

After both crowdfunding effors failed, chief creative officer Denis Dyack, who is no stranger to controversy, said the project would be put on indefinite hold. We haven’t heard anything about the game since late last year, but IGN just recently uploaded a trailer for the game to their YouTube account before making it private again. This time, the trailer listed the game as being produced by Quantum Entanglement Entertainment. Whether another studio decided to pick this up or Precursor Games has reformed under a new name, we’re not sure. The trailer didn’t disclose platforms either, so perhaps we’ll see more about this game in the coming days.
