If you want Secret of Mana 2 in English, talk to Square Enix

A few weeks ago we announced that the Seiken Densetsu Collection is headed to Japan sometime this year. The collection will include Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densetsu 3. At the time, Square Enix hadn’t addressed whether or not this collection would get an English version translation.

Since then, it’s been revealed that M2 will be handling the porting of the games to Nintendo Switch. Several fans have reached out to the M2 president on Twitter to ask about an English version of the game, to which he replied that you’ve got to talk to Square Enix if you want this to happen.

So for all of you JRPG fans who have been asking for an English translation of this collection, head to Square Enix’s Twitter and let them know that this is something you want to see outside of Jpaan. Failing that, remember that the Nintendo Switch is a region-free console and you can pick up the Seiken Densetsu Collection from Japan and play it on your system just fine, so long as you’re fine with the original Japanese language.
