Since the Nintendo Switch’s launch earlier this year, a very vocal part of Samsung TV owners have voiced their concerns about their TVs automatically switching (heh) to the Switch’s input without warning. Today, Samsung says that they’ll be fixing the problem with a firmware update due this summer.
As The Verge notes, this problem is not caused by HDMI-CEC, but instead by a feature with Samsung’s 2016 lineup of TVs that switches input’s anytime a new signal is sent to that TV from that device.
