Despite the release of amiibo happening just a little over a month ago, we’ve been in for one heck of a ride. Current amiibo stock is low all over the country and with the pains of pre-ordering and tracking down retailer exclusive amiibos, fans of the figures have had a rough time getting their favorites. That may become even harder in the future, as a picture of a Target POS system shows the store listing both Fox and Samus amiibos as discontinued.
Currently there’s no word from Nintendo on whether or not this is true, but if it turns out to be then Samus and Fox amiibos will be joining the Wii Fit Trainer, The Villager, and Marth in rarity until Nintendo decides to do another shipment. If either of those characters are your favorite, make sure you jump on any amiibo you find while it’s available, as they may not be re-printed again.
