Robbers raid Nintendo truck and steal games

Robbers in the UK raided a truck transporting Nintendo games and got away with “thousands of pounds” worth of merchandise, according to a report.

The theft happened in Northamptonshire, where a truck driver was sleeping in his truck at a service station. While he was out, robbers cut a hole in the truck’s side (see photo below) and raided it for thousands of pounds worth of Nintendo games (and presumably, consoles as well).

This happened just as Nintendo is about to launch Star Fox Zero in the UK.

This isn’t the first time a truck carrying Nintendo gear was robbed in the UK. Last year, a trucked filled with copies of Splatoon was robbed on its way from a Nintendo warehouse. That robbery happened just as Splatoon was launching in the UK.
