Reggie talks about Wii U to GT.TV

Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime spoke briefly with GameTrailers’ Geoff Keighly about the upcoming Wii U. Reggie mentions that there are a lot of consumers out there who didn’t buy an Xbox 360 or PS3, who have been loyal with Nintendo. And now some of the appeal of the Wii U, according to Reggie, is that those consumers will get a chance to play third party hits like Assassin’s Creed 3 and Batman Arkham City on a Nintendo system.

Reggie did get questioned a bit about the lack of decent Wii support over the past few years, but he shrugged off the criticism. Reggie also answers a rumor that was started by Michael Pachter, where he believed that Activision forced Nintendo to offer the Wii U Pro Controller to gamers.
