If you were looking forward to picking up Project Cars this November on Wii U, you’re going to have a bit more of a wait ahead of you. Today publisher Bandai Namco announced that the Wii U version of Project Cars has been delayed to 2015. Slightly Mad Studios has yet to show any footage from the Wii U version, leading many to believe that it’s not up to speed with the rest of the developed versions for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here’s the statement issued by Bandai Namco:

We’re committed to delivering an exceptional and unique experience for racing fans on Wii U and for this we kindly ask our devoted and passionate Nintendo fans for a little more time in order to ensure the game delivers on our vision of being the most authentic, beautiful, and technically-advanced racing game on any platform.

This is the same thing that happened to Watch Dogs, when Ubisoft said the special GamePad interaction with the game needed extra time in the development oven in order to perfect. Will you be getting Project Cars on another platform in November, or will you wait until 2015 to play the game on the Wii U?
