Pokemon GO has been downloaded 750 million times

Pokemon GO was released (almost) a year ago, and developer Niantic is celebrating the first anniversary with some in-game and real life events as well.

Not only that, they announced that Pokemon GO has now been downloaded 750 million times, making it the most successful mobile game ever (and the fact that it’s raking in tens of millions of dollars in revenue per month).

Starting June 13 (next week) the “Solstice Event” will kick off, giving players XP boosts, and making Fire and Ice Pokemons more common.

There will also be a real life event called Pokemon GO Fest in Chicago at Grant Park on July 22nd, but you’ll have to get tickets for that event. Similar events will be held in Europe and Japan. You can check out more details here.
