Pocket Rumble was supposed to be a launch month title for the Nintendo Switch, but we’re now well into April with no word on what’s happened with the pixel brawler. A concerned fan reached out to one of the devs to ask when we can expect to see the game and surprisingly, got a pretty good answer as to why the game was delayed in the first place.
The developer says that first of all, due to an error of miscommunication, the game was announced with a much earlier release date than they expected, so they weren’t able to hit those early rumors of March 9th. Then the developer explains that the process of getting the title ready for distribution has taken longer than expected.

The developer doesn’t go into details about what’s holding up things on the technical side of the game, but she does mention that they plan to submit a final build to Nintendo within the coming days and it should be easier to set a firm launch date for the game then.
