If you were a fan of Shovel Knight, you’re probably looking forward to Plague of Shadows, the free DLC that releases today. If you aren’t aware, this DLC gives you control of the Plague Knight, who controls quite a bit differently from the melee-based Shovel Knight.
Plague Knight can double jump and use explosions to bounce around the map, so even if you’re an expert Shovel Knight you’ll have to learn how best to control Plague Knight’s seemingly unpredictable movements to harness his true power.
The update is free for those who already own the game on Wii U or Nintendo 3DS, so be sure to update it and check it out if you like what you see above.
