Pikmin 4 has been in development for a while now — it was Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto who said a while ago that Pikmin 4 was in development and almost done.
That was two years ago. What’s going on with the game now? It’s still in development, according to Miyamoto. And that’s about all he said.
“I’ve been told not to share anything about this from PR, but I can tell you it is progressing.” he told Eurogamer.
Pikmin 4 was originally supposed to be released on the Wii U, but now it almost certainly is going to be a Switch exclusive.
Nintendo might be waiting to announce the game later this year instead of E3, since they’ve already announced several games at this year’s E3 (such as Metroid Prime 4).
