Pikmin 3 supports local multiplayer gameplay, such as the Challenge mode, which supports 2 players and is a cooperative mode. In Challenge, players team up in order to collect as much fruit in a given time period. Both players can use the Wiimote and Nunchucks to play — the GamePad isn’t required (but can be used).
