Earlier this year at E3, we showcased the PDP Fightpads that are now available for purchase. The company started with four initially available, with the pads themed around different Nintendo characters, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi. Now the company is introducing new Fightpads to the mix, this time based on four more characters outside of the Mario franchise.
New Fightpads with color schemes based on Donkey Kong, Link, Wario, and Samus will be available for $25 should you want a GameCube Fightpad to wreck face with once Super Smash Bros. is released in November. These controllers function as wired Classic controllers as well, so if you like the GameCube controller enough to use it for virtual console games, you’ll be able to do that. Currently the first set of four are available for pre-order from Amazon. We’ll let you know when the second set based on these characters are available for pre-order as well.
